The importance of this session cannot be overstated. Practically every difficulty I have ever helped people with in OWL has stemmed from them not understanding the full ramifications of the Open World assumption. It means that the inferences they thought they could make are not valid (though they are consistent). It means that names might not be unique. It means that Complement classes are more important than you ever thought they ought to be.
If you ever thought you wanted to write OWL, and especially if you are writing OWL now, then you NEED to be at this session.
